Basophobia is the other name for fear of falling. In such a condition the person is afraid to stand because he always has the fear that if he stands he might fall. In short, this type of fear can be defined as "a persistent, abnormal, unwarranted aversion to inability to stand".Basophobia is not a common condition. Basophobia is more common with people who are sick and physically weak. It can happen in people of all age, sex, caste and creed. This phobic condition has several symptoms, which may vary from person to person.
